This little Vietnamese shop close to Ikebukuro station serves up some delicious authentic food. Everytime I’m in Japan, my Vietnamese friends bring me here so I know the food is good. They have a variety of soups, noodles, rices dishes and appetizers plus a combo lunch menu. This spot gets quite busy for lunch too. Prices are reasonable and the food is good and light. There is a picture on the front door with Bill and Hilary Clinton…apparently they visited this spot while in Vietman

Delicious food! Will come for more! Had the pho. Forgot which one. It was meat and had some red pepper. That was amazing. And huuuge! Also, we didn't have to wait too long. Overall, it's a nice place to enjoy quality food!

I tried the Bon Bu Hue and Vietnamese fried chicken wings. BBH was just ok, Japanese level spice (in other words not that spicy), serving size, and flavor. The wings were good, though. Interiors are nice. You have to go up the elevator to the 4F in an entrance that looks like an apartment building next to the bar on the corner (see photo). Staff was nice. They take card or cash.

I think this place needs more customers. The food is 4/5 the price of a meal will probably cost between 1100 yen to 1600 yen. Not going to say the pho tastes 100% authentic but it's nostalgic enough to make me happy. Edit: Changed from 4 to 5 stars. Went to other Vietnamese restaurants in Tokyo and though this restaurant isn't perfect. it is 10x by far better than the other places I've been.

Really good Vietnamese restaurant. Visited for lunch and they have set lunch for cheap. Got the pho ga set with rice and loved it. The pho was comparable to what I had in Vietnam, and the curry reminded me of Hong Kong style curry. Went on weekday at 1230 and had to wait 5 mins to get in.

The staff was friendly and attentive. I was seated quickly and ordered the lunch set. It was great. I especially liked the green papaya salad. The chicken pho was also good but the chicken slices tasted old. Still good enough to eat again.
